The Adventures Of Tintin (Steven Spielberg, 2011)

The Adventures Of Tintin is a movie that flies. It's a movie that doesn't touch ground not even a second. And that's how Steven Spielberg deals with his movies. He makes them in a way that are so addictive to the spectator that he cannot escape them in any way. This movie is an adventure and by adventure I mean that thrilling recipe where the more you watch, the more you find yourself helpless in the hands of the director. The more you watch, the more you understand that you won't find peace till the adventure is over and everything comes to an end. The Adventures Of Tintin is what you call a movie with high doses of adrenaline. The thing that happens on the screen is beyond you, it goes above you and you are unable to sustain it. The only thing that you can do is follow it with eyes closed. The only thing that you can do is let yourself be taken by the thunder and the storm and go to a place where adventure is the only vehicle that can do you good, the only remedy.
The Adventures Of Tintin is a movie that will steal your breath. It's a movie that will make you go and climb that high mountain. It's a movie that will make you love life once more. Because there is that secret recipe that only Steven knows so damn well and it speaks about a cinema that has all those qualities that make it a real triumph of story. A real triumph of plot. A real triumph of thrilling scenes where your interest and anticipation are been drawn to their limits. And that's how this movie works, to the limits. There is no break in that movie, there is no pause in that movie. It moves continuously. It moves like a lizard. It moves so fast that you barely can watch it. It's like you took the fastest train. It's like you are in an amusement park and there is no way to get out of there. You find yourself trapped there for life. That's how this movie feels. It feels like you were hit by 10.000 Volts. It feels like a day out in the wild where the air is fresh and penetrating. The Adventures Of Tintin is a movie that you take like a shot. You drink it and then you feel like fucking Superman.
