Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls (Russ Meyer, 1970)

If you are looking for a satire, then this is one of the greatest satirical movies that exist in this world. Russ Meyer's absolute best movie is a film that doesn't leave anyone untouched. It satirizes the system, the star system, the lawyers, the music bands, the people, the very foundations of American society. Filled with nude girls that appear on the screen out of nowhere and they disappear in the same way, Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls is an example of a movie that really shatters everything comes in its roaring way. If you are after heavy criticism on America's late 60s culture, if you are after heavy mess in a movie, if you are after big boobs and big laughs, if you are after a party that will stick in your mind as the craziest thing that you have seen, then this movie is certainly for you. Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls is written by Russ Meyer and Roger Ebert and the slick, in-your-face humour that it has can only do one thing to you and that is make you become a stand-up comedian. This is without a doubt one of the greatest 70s movies, a film that really surpasses any kind of decency and stays the whole time that it runs an example of rudeness and delicate, hidden profanity that really shakes the room and stirs the waters. Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls is a movie that was heavily panned by many critics, calling it all sorts of names, but as time passed more and more people fell for its undeniable allure, its roaring sense of humour and its trashy, yet classy flavour. A film that celebrates the comment made upon  people in the most hilarious and offbeat way.
